Kaitlin Jagersky, Partner
Kaitlin Jagersky advises individuals and families in complex matters involving sophisticated income arrangements, business and corporate interests, and property and trust claims. She brings a focused, strategic approach to each file, providing clear and cost-effective legal advice aimed at achieving practical, effective outcomes.
While Kaitlin is an experienced courtroom advocate before Ontario courts, she recognizes that many clients are best served by staying out of court where possible. She is highly skilled in alternative dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, and routinely helps clients resolve disputes efficiently and proportionately.
Kaitlin holds a Master of Laws (LLM) with a focus on family law and access to justice. Her practice often involves working closely with accountants, Chartered Business Valuators, and other professionals to address complex financial issues in a collaborative, client-focused manner. She is dedicated to guiding clients through challenging family law matters with clarity, confidence, and steady advocacy.

Katie Baker, Partner
With a genuine commitment to her clients and a belief that everyone deserves skilled, compassionate representation, Katie Baker helps families navigate one of life's most challenging transitions.
Katie has been practising family law across Southwestern Ontario since her call to the bar in 2018, helping individuals and families work through a wide range of complex matters. Whether at the negotiating table, in mediation, or before the courts, she brings the same dedication to protecting what matters most to her clients: their families, their futures, and their peace of mind.
Katie takes the time to understand each client's unique situation and goals before charting a path forward. Where possible, she pursues practical, cost-effective resolution through negotiation and collaborative approaches, but is a tenacious advocate in court when litigation is necessary.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto and graduated cum laude from the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy's Dual J.D. program in 2017. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and is committed to serving families throughout Waterloo Region and beyond with the highest standard of care.

Laura Smith, Partner
Laura Smith advises individuals and families navigating separation and divorce, bringing particular depth to matters involving high-conflict parenting disputes, spousal and child support, and the division of family property. She takes a deliberate, strategic approach to each file, providing honest, practical advice focused on achieving resolution that works, not just for today, but for the long term.
Laura understands that family law matters are among the most personal and consequential challenges a person can face. Where matters require it, she is a tenacious and skilled advocate before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, with extensive experience navigating complex, high-conflict disputes through litigation. At the same time, she recognizes that court is not always the best path forward. Certified in Collaborative Family Law, Laura is highly skilled in negotiation, mediation, and collaborative processes, and consistently helps clients reach resolution in a way that preserves dignity, reduces cost, and, where children are involved, protects the co-parenting relationship.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. She works closely with financial professionals where matters require it, bringing a thorough, client-focused approach to even the most complex files.
Laura serves clients throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, and surrounding areas, and is committed to guiding each client through a difficult chapter with clarity, empathy, and unwavering advocacy.
